Participate in WHO’s Instagram Campaign – #YearsAhead and Valued
Photos can help break down the stereotypes that we often associate with ageing. World Health Organization’s Department of Ageing and Life-course Instagram campaign is challenging ageism by asking for photos that demonstrate how older adults from around the world continue to play valuable roles in their families and communities.
If you are:
- An older person, please post a photo of yourself celebrating that you are #YearsAhead
- A younger person, please post a selfie with someone you value who is #YearsAhead
Photos can be submitted on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #YearsAhead or sent to email@example.com with the subject line: YearsAhead. Each photo should include a short description and where it was taken. Please ensure you have agreement of anyone featured in photos before posting or sending.
This campaign will continue until the end of 2015!
