ARTS WORKSHOP ON DEATH, DYING & BEREAVEMENT
COTA still has spaces available in an upcoming arts workshop on Death, Dying and Grieving. The Olivia Newton John Cancer and Wellness Centre and Palliative Care Victoria have trained volunteers to pilot this creative one hour workshop at COTA Victoria. The one hour workshop will contain a short film screening and creative activities that explore thoughts and feelings on death, dying and grieving.

DYING TO TALK – Monday 15th June 2015, What is your most pressing question about death and dying?
COTA Victoria supported by the City of Casey invites older people, their family, friends and carers to be part of a discussion on what matters most to us as we approach end of life. What are your wishes for end-of-life care? How do you make this known to others?

On May 27th 2014 COTA Victoria with Palliative Care Victoria held a successful event (DYING TO TALK) on starting conversations and planning on end of life issues.
COTA members are encouraged to have a conversation on what matters as you approach end of life and think about who do you need to have this conversation with. On August 8th 2014, to promote DYING TO KNOW DAY, COTA supported Macedon Ranges Shire Council to hold a community information event on end of life planning and issues.
