Human Rights & Older People

Throughout its history, COTA has campaigned for recognition of the human rights of older people.  Age discrimination in Australia and elsewhere can result in older people being denied their rights to participate in society and to be heard, simply because of their age.  Read more about what is happening locally and globally and how COTA Victoria is engaged in this work:

    Could you kindly advise where I may raise the following:

    My wife was advised that a claim for travel insurance could not be considered on the grounds of a death in the family, if the person who passed away was older than 85 years.
