NSW Opal Card Available to Interstate Seniors

NSW Gold Opal public transport card for is now available seniors living in other states.

The card allows them unlimited travel on any public transport network for $2.50 a day.

You need to attach a photocopy or scan of your Seniors Card (front and back) with the application.

Gold Senior/Pensioner Opal cards for interstate seniors are valid for 60 days from the date of issue.

You should only submit this application two weeks before you need to travel as your application will be processed immediately.

If you need to travel in NSW for longer than 60 days, you will need to submit a new application when your card expires.

It is recommended that once you receive your Gold Senior/Pensioner Opal card, you register it at or over the phone at 13 OPAL (13 67 25), so they can remind you of its expiry date
