The Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry into End of Life Choices handed down its Final Report today. Significant recommendations have been made covering the provision and funding of palliative care services, improving the uptake of advance care planning and coordination of end of life care and introducing a legal framework to provide for assisted dying.
COTA Victoria will carefully consider the recommendations in the report and post our response soon.
The Victorian Government has six months to consider and respond to the report and its recommendations from the Committee.
