Are you interested in improving the lives of older people in our community?
COTA Victoria is looking for people aged 50+ with experience or a strong interest in research, research ethics or knowledge translation to join this committee for a 3 year period.
Established in 2015 the COTA Research Advisory Committee was established to evaluate requests for research and research-related activities that enhances the health and wellbeing of older people.
The Committee’s duties include:
– Reviewing and making recommendations in regard to formal requests received for support in the conduct of ethically approved research projects on matters relating to ageing and older age.
– Advising the Policy Advisory Committee on matters of good research governance.
Meetings are held via email, with two face to face meetings at COTA Victoria offices each year.
