Living Longer Living Stronger Master of his Game

Living Longer Living StrongerTM instructor Alan Wood has proven the champion aspects of the fitness program for older people by hauling nine gold medals in the recent Australian Masters Games hosted in Tasmania.

The 80-year-old athlete experienced his most successful Masters campaign to date, winning the 60m, 100m, 200m, 400m, long jump, high jump, triple jump, javelin and pentathlon events.

Mr Wood, a Living Longer Living StrongerTM group instructor at the Doncaster East gym, was pleased with the results, hoping his success will inspire other older people.

“You’re never really confident of how you’re going to go because you don’t know who you’re up against until you actually get there,” he said.

Mr Woods is a favourite for the Oceania Masters Track and Field Championships to be hosted in New Zealand in January.
