Fervent fan finds fitness fabulous

Frank Cahill says that since he was dragged to his first Living Longer Living Stronger (LLLS) fitness program five years ago, he has never looked back. Frank has been inspired by his instructors, creating friendships and boosting his health in the process.

The 73-year-old Warrandyte man attends one of the COTA Victoria’s LLLS classes twice a week at the local basketball stadium in Doncaster, together with a group of about 40 to 50 people aged from their 60s to one 95-year-old participant. Frank is just one of 15,000 participants in the statewide program, which operates at 80 centres and 100 sites.

COTA Victoria is now seeking sponsorship so it can double the size of the LLLS program and promote the health, dignity, wellbeing and social inclusion of older people.

Find an LLLS near you by going to the COTA website or by phoning COTA Victoria on 1300 13 50 90.

For more information on the sponsorship proposal contact COTA Victoria.
