Social Media and Extreme Weather Events

Do you use social media? A research team at RMIT University is interested to learn how you use social media to monitor and share information about extreme weather events-  floods, storms, bushfires, heat waves etc.

They are interested in hearing from people aged 60 years and older.

If you would like to find out more about this research project and how to participate in a 30-minute telephone, an in-person interview, or a focus group please contact:

Dr Mari Fitzpatrick mari.fitzpatrick@rmit.edu.au P: 9925 0125 or

Vanessa Cooper vanessa.cooper@rmit.edu.au P.: 9925 5786

All participants will receive a $25 voucher in appreciation of their time.
