Planning ahead can seem overwhelming, especially for men over 60 years of age. Hosted by OM:NI men’s discussion groups and Seniors Rights Victoria (SRV), the Legal matters for older fellas forum will tackle the topic with easy-to-understand information.
Featured speakers
- Wayne Henwood, an ex-Swans AFL Footballer, current AFL Tribunal Member and practising barrister, will open the event with a talk on the importance of planning ahead – and a touch of humour.
- Tabitha O’Shea, one of SRV’s experienced community lawyers, will talk about planning ahead, including Enduring Powers of Attorney and medical decision-making appointments, and will answer questions.
- SRV Education Coodinator, Gary Ferguson, will discuss Advanced Care Directives.
