A research student is conducting interviews to understand how people aged 65+ use technologies that help with healthcare at home, ranging from telehealth through to devices that monitor health signs (e.g., blood pressure) and activity in the home (e.g., falls, mobility, and daily activities) and, devices that collect data about older adults’ health and exercise (e.g. fitness trackers). The research will provide insights into how and why older adults choose to use technologies to support and manage their health and well-being and, will identify who and what influences decisions to use these technologies (ethics ID 1955800).
If you are interested in sharing your opinion of using technologies that support and manage health at home, have your say!
