In our 2020-21 pre-budget submission, we asked the Victorian Government to increase investment in a range of services and infrastructure to help Victorians age well. This report card outlines our response to the 2020-21 state budget, handed down by Treasurer, Tim Pallas on 24 November.
The Council on the Ageing (COTA) Victoria said the telephone will play a major role in supporting older people who find themselves isolated and dealing with the fear of contracting the Coronavirus, which is causing increased anxiety in the community.
As the Victorian Government develops its next budget, COTA Victoria call for investment in six key areas. These include liveable communities, skills and jobs for mature aged workers, transport, promoting digital fairness, planning for change and a safer Victoria.
All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to registrations, including Email. Any information collected by COTA Victoria is collected via correspondence from you or your organisation. This may be via the telephone, Email, mail, fax or directly through our website.AcceptRejectRead More
