COTA Victoria believes it is time to take a public health approach to planning for future trends in regards to the increasing Victorian road toll. Our ageing population should be a major consideration in determining road safety priorities and investment decisions.

Being visible to drivers is a major safety advantage and COTA Victoria suggests wearing bright reflective armbands or wearing hi-vis vests for walking at night that can be picked up by headlights as safety measure for pedestrians.
