Victorian Energy Compare is an independent Victorian Government energy price comparison site. Victorian residents can use this site to input data about their current energy bills and generate a list of alternate deals from all relevant energy retailers. COTA is hosting a series of workshops to assist people with completing the comparison exercise. There is no requirement to switch providers if you don’t wish to, no marketing and all participants can claim a one-off $50 Power Saving Bonus.
How it works:
- Register for your preferred session
- Bring a copy of a recent gas or electricity bill to the session
- Complete the comparison exercise with our assistance
- Claim your $50 Power Saving Bonus*
*The $50 power Saving bonus can be claimed only once by each participating household. It will be paid to you by cheque approximately 3-4 weeks after the session.
Morning or afternoon tea will also be provided. These sessions will fill quickly, so early registration is advised.
