The Victorian Government is seeking applications for eight new members to its Victim Survivors’ Advisory Council (VSAC).
VSAC was established in 2016 following the Royal Commission into Family Violence to bring the voices of those with lived experience to the centre of Victoria’s family and sexual violence reforms.
Participation on VSAC is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for people with lived experience of family and/or sexual violence. Members can inform and influence government policy and legislation in preventing and responding to family and sexual violence. Members are recognised and paid for their time and commitment.
The council includes people of different ages, genders and demographics from communities across Victoria with lived experience of family and sexual violence. To find out more, please visit the website VSAC Recruitment.
Applications are open from 23 October to 22 November 2026. Please contact the VSAC Secretariat at FSV.Engagement@familysafety.vic.gov.au if you have any questions.
