In photos: COTA Victoria’s 75th anniversary

Starting off as the Old People’s Welfare Council of Victoria in 1951, then becoming the Victorian Council on the Ageing in 1968, and finally the Council on the Ageing Victoria in 1991, we’re incredibly proud to have been representing Victorians as they age for 75 years.

We were delighted to host colleagues, friends, members, supporters, and sector partners on the Melbourne Town Hall Portico Balcony on the afternoon of 11 June in order to look back on our history and celebrate what’s to come.

The event was hosted by our Communications and Membership Manager, Steve Wright, and featured a Welcome to Country by Wurundjeri Elder Annette Xiberras and speeches from our President, Robert Caulfield, and our CEO, Ben Rogers. It also celebrated 24 years of dedicated service to COTA Victoria, as delivered by Karen Ivanka.

We invite you to browse a small gallery of photos from the event, below.
